Went to Flinders for fishing on Saturday night and stayed until after midnight. My score was -2 thanks to the two little puffer fishes I caught!

The winner was Minako who brought in a huge squid! That revived everyone’s hopes but after a couple of hours of more nothingness afterwards, we called it a night.

On the way back, we stopped by at maccas but I was deprived of getting the the chicken delux burger. Wong wouldn’t let me indulge. She says she’s looking after my health. I say it’s not fair!

Minako and Nick stayed over, and it’s about lunch time now. They’re all playing Wii until I get off this computer and we’ll be heading down to my fave restaurant in the world for lunch, Straits!

Okay… less blogging, more eating!
Sayonara for now :)

It’s Friday! Aaaaaaaaaalright!!!

Looking forward to a good game of Cranium tonight! It’ll be the boys vs girls (I have a bad feeling about this!) BRING IT!

Then there’s Saturday night fishing at Flinders suggested by our good friend, Hock. We went there last weekend during the arvo and caught a few Whiting so we’ll see how we go tomorrow at night… can’t wait!

Oh oh, and then there’s next weekend… EASTER WEEKEND! Soooo can’t wait! We’re heading up to Eden with a few other friends and setup our campsite just by a lake so we can, you guessed, go fishing!

Can you see a pattern here people?!

On another note, I’ve put together a photography club called the Melbourne Shutterbugs and there are now 16 members so I’m over the moon about that! We’ll be doing a motorbike/car photoshoot in a few weeks, and then a modelling shoot a few weeks after that! So if you want in on the action and increase your photography knowledge (newbies are most welcome and encouraged) then click here.

Happy Friday everybody :)

Slow day today… things just aren’t going right on all levels, and it’s frustrating! But what can you do? Just keep going…

Computer issues, digital media issues, operational issues…

Wednesday night, family night dinner at mum and dad’s, the Wii back at my place with the brothers… anyway Lenan left himself logged into Facebook when I went to my computer to check on a render so I couldn’t resist updating his status!

Anyway… family night dinner with Wong’s family is today! I wonder what her mum and Sheryl have cooked up for tonight! Can’t wait :)

Too Serious

I’m bloody sore and tired from Badminton last night. Wong’s got me playing on Tuesday nights in Mulgrave for a social hit… well… it’s supposed to be social (and fun!) but sometimes you get players that just take it way to seriously and forget to have fun, or maybe I’m just crap and don’t care too much if I make a mistake!

Some of you would know that I’ve started working from home on my own photography and digital video business.
It’s been okay, been very busy with previous work that’s been sitting on the back burner but I’m getting through them, and there’s a few weddings coming up in the next month or two that I’m booked to shoot.
I’ve got my own little home office setup with how I want it setup:
– phone and answering machine
– 1300 number setup (that’s 1300 789 355 if you know anyone that needs photography and video done!)
– 2 computers networked (one for editing, the other for rendering/burning/slave!)

Anyway, the only person in the past few weeks since I’ve been setup has been Wong calling from her work and not really any customers but yesterday I got my first one, yay! :)
Had a lady call up to do some prints from a wedding I shot. Check out www.gautier.com.au

Just have a problem with my sleeping habits at the moment… I tend to get to sleep at about 2am doing work, and then wake up at about 10 or 11am…
