Rachel and Jayden

I shot Rachel and Jayden’s wedding on Saturday 4/10/08 and we were blessed with sunshine in the afternoon!

We had our photoshoot locations as Parliament on Spring St, Fitzroy Gardens, and Port Melbourne.

It’s now Sunday and beautiful outside, but I’m at home resting up… After Rachel and Jayden’s reception, I felt I was starting to get a cold… you know that feeling?!  Woke up this morning and sure enough, I had a stuffy nose, my ears were blocked and had a sore throat.  On top of that, my left eye is all puffy.  Not sure if it’s just a mosquito bite (or some other bug) or a sty.  Whatever the case, It’s freaking annoying and I can’t open my left eye fully, plus it stings.

Now I’m just waiting for dad to come over and drop off some of mum’s cooking because

a)  You can’t beat it
b)  It’s free
c)  I can’t be bothered preparing anything right now :P

Gateway says goodbye to Joseph

Today was Joseph’s last day at Gateway Business Communications and onto Telstra Business as an account executive.  He will be dearly missed!

We both started at Gateway early January 2008.  We both came from the Burwood Telstra Business call centre.  He was struggling with what to do when he had the opportunity to join Telstra as an AE, but it was something that he’s always wanted to be whilst he was at the call centre.

Good on ya Joe for following what you really want to do!

One of Joe's favourite take-away places in Sandringham is the Fish 'n Chips place just down the road from our office. He was so adamant to have this meal as his last one at Gateway :)

Yep... he's savouring as much as he can while it lasts!

Don’t be a stranger Joe!  Be sure to drop by when you can :)

Good luck in your new role as a Telstra AE!

Shall we dance?

Last summer, JD’s (one of the best performers on So you think you can dance) dance crew performed at Federation Square in front of hundreds of people.

JD teaches Hip Hop dancing at the Melbourne Music Academy in the Melbourne CBD so be sure to give them a buzz to learn the freshest dance moves and meet up with great people!

Our good friend from Japan, Ayaka visited Wong and I for the day and it was great to catch up with her :)

She was one of the Japanese branch staff at Nova Group when Wong and I were teaching English in Nagoya, Japan.  She’s so much fun to be with and wish her and Francis the very best in their future together!
