Port Campell with Minnie and Nick

It was the Queen’s birthday long weekend for Victoria and Wong and I spent it with our good friends, Nick and Minnie in Port Campbell (Great Ocean Road).
We stayed there for 3 days, 2 nights at South Ocean Villas.
We fished off the Port Campbell jetty and caught 6 Trevally on the 2nd day using Pilchard for bait.
On the 3rd and last day, we used one of the Mackerels that Minnie caught to catch 10 fish in total (Trevallies and other Mackerels).

Wong cooked a great roast on the first night, but nothing can beat what Minnie and Nick whipped up together!! We were treated to Japanese style cooking! Home made Gyoza (special mixture of mince, chives, and other herbs wrapped in a soft dumpling like wrapping which was then fried and steamed). The chicken wings were to die for too! And to top it off, I had put in the oven 3 of the 6 Trevallies we caught on the 2nd day. Let me just say that we were all SLEEEEEEEPY after that mega meal! It was THE BEST!!

We also stopped by a cheese farm on the way back to Melbourne which offered a selection of delicious organic cheeses… yummmmm!
